Shelley Forrest

Senior Associate

Shelley was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2017.  Since joining the Cronin Miller team in 2020, Shelley has practiced primarily in estate litigation, estate planning and estate administration.  Shelley holds particular skill in:

  • drafting complicated estate plans, with a focus on strategies to reduce the risk of disputes and litigation later on;
  • litigating contested wills and estates, with a focus on early resolution;
  • administering complex estates, including complicated asset portfolios, related corporate or trust interests and managing unhappy beneficiaries.

She has a keen focus on breaking down the complexities of the law and a tangle of facts for her clients to provide simplified, quality advice. Where possible, she aims to resolve disputes amicably and early.

Shelley is known for her professional and personable nature. She believes her client relationships are invaluable in developing a strategic path to her client’s desired outcome.

Shelley has lived on the Gold Coast her whole life. She is a self-proclaimed gardening nerd and has been told she has too many plants in her house.
