The firm has been pleased to cement its relationship with BMD Northcliffe Surf Club by recently committing to sponsorship for 2023. The long relationship between Cronin Miller and BMD Northcliffe first started in 2011 when Derek Cronin approached Club President David Shields about a proposed engagement between the two entities.

As a volunteer charitable organisation the support we receive from Cronin Miller Litigation, for over 15 years now, has been paramount in our delivery of our services, and we can’t thank Derek and Stacy enough for their enduring support and commitment to saving lives.” – David Shields, Club President.
The relationship between the two entities naturally grew with the increasing involvement of Derek via his appointment as honorary solicitor and as member of the club Supporters Committee.

We stand along other well known sponsors such as BMD, Coates Hire, Sammut Group, QSA and Shaw and Partners to name a few. The relationship that the sponsors have to the club puts it in an enviable position amongst other clubs, it truly is the best club in Australia in my humble opinion” said Derek.
Clients of the firm recently attended the annual Sportsman’s Charity lunch which raised funds for the continuation of the life saving efforts of the club . The annual event is attended by national and international sports stars including Ian Healy, Alan Jones, Alfie Langer and Vin Cox.
The weekend of 10 and 11 February saw the club host the Shaw and Partners Shannon Eckstein Ironman Classic with local club athletes including Georgia Miller and Matt Bevilacqua featuring prominently. The competition is the richest surf event in the history of surf sports, with $240,000 in collective prize money over the event.
