On Thursday 22 June, Derek Cronin will be sleeping on the concrete at CBUS Super Stadium as part of the Vinnies CEO Sleepout® 2017.
It is well known that Derek is not usually one to sleep in basic accommodation. His parents have owned a caravan for the last 15 years which he refuses to borrow, usually preferring to indulge in high end overseas travel options. So spending a night on concrete we expect will be a serious change for him.
105,000 Australians — everyday people like you and me — experience homelessness every night. This is devastating, particularly when you learn 27 per cent are children.
Derek is a big supporter of organisations which support the Homeless, and is currently on the board of community groups which assist with the homeless youth of the Gold Coast.
Join the fight against homelessness by donating at: www.ceosleepout.org.au/donate/online-donation
A donation of just $50 can provide warm blankets and a meal to someone facing homelessness, and $100 can keep a family’s power on this winter.
Cronin Litigation is proud to support Derek in his campaign this year.
