Alana joined the team at Cronin Miller Litigation in July 2020 and was promoted to Partner in January 2023.
Alana’s practice is primarily focused on resolving complex commercial disputes, including director and shareholder disputes, partnership and JV disputes, consumer law claims, misleading and deceptive conduct claims, contract disputes, debt recovery, and insolvency/bankruptcy. She employs a strategic and commercial approach to resolving disputes, which is keenly focused on identifying each client’s needs and desired outcomes and developing innovative and flexible means to achieve those outcomes, with limited business interruption for clients.
Alana has led Supreme Court and Local Court litigation in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia, and Tasmania, as well as regularly appearing in Federal Court litigation. Her point of difference is developing and managing client relationships, and utilising her previous studies and experience in psychology to obtain a strategic advantage in disputes for the benefit of her clients.
Prior to joining Cronin Miller Litigation, Alana worked for a top-tier international law firm in the Dispute Resolution team which included a secondment to the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Corporation, as well as for the Queensland State Government in management, policy development, and strategic advisory roles.
